This is PurpleSwift’s timeline, showing major events from the founding of PurpleSwift, to developing BACnetP2, our first BACnetP2 site, onboarding partners and so forth. Scroll to the bottom for the beginning of our timeline. This will be updated periodically as new events occur and new articles may be added to older items, so be sure to check back!

March, 2025

By the end of March 2025, we had integrated 149 sites across 6 countries!

We attended our first AHR Expo!

By the end of October 2024, we had integrated 130 sites across 6 countries! We are excited to expand further across the globe.
Sept, 2024

By the end of September 2024, we had integrated over 40,000 Siemens Apogee devices. That is over 40,000 devices that we helped save from the landfill.
Aug, 2024

This tool assists in estimating the work involved for completing Apogee P2 integration. Run the tool and it will generate a report. The various counts are there to assist you with estimating the work involved.

As of February 2024, our gateway supports integration of P1/RS485. This feature allows you to future proof against failing P2 controllers leaving orphaned P1 devices. What differentiates our P1 driver from others? The point mappings are preserved when migrating TEC's from our existing P2 driver, no requirement for re-engineering the BMS graphics, the BMS system will still access the TEC points at the same BACnet Device ID as before and it saves hours of engineering work.

As of 2024, we have saved over 29k devices from ending up in the landfill! That is over 29,000 devices across 94 sites that would have ended up in a landfill, had our BACnetP2 not been utilised.

We have 4 new sites in Baldwin County. The schools now enjoy an upgraded system that is working well, without connection issues. They have been able to enjoy the significant savings associated with keeping all of their existing equipment as well as avoiding the environmental impact associated with replacing all of their equipment

We have a new site and a very happy customer. BACnetP2 allowed them to retain all of their existing equipment, avoid the cost of upgrading to the new Desigo system and the cost of ripping and replacing their old system and the site now has an updated interface and graphics!

We have officially integrated at our first site in Australia! BACnetP2 can now be found installed in 6 countries across the world! BACnetP2 has been installed in the USA, Hong Kong, Canada, South Africa, South Korea and Australia.

Launched in August 2020, BACnetP2 is our flagship product. It supersedes our previous gateway, DBACnet. While DBACnet only provided integration of the Apogee P1 network devices (TECs) with the BACnet/IP network, BACnetP2 offers integration with the Apogee P2 network which includes all the P1 devices (TECs) and the P2 devices (panels).
